Ancient Chinese Secret is back from our East Coast Tour. We were scheduled to be featured prominently on Little Steven's Underground Garage in November, 2007. Unfortunately, the experience ended poorly when Steven Van Zandt and his producers discovered that we did not play any original music, but elaborate covers of well-worn favorites. They explained to us that they featured original acts, and harsh words were exchanged.
To avoid a physical confrontation, Stevie offered us satin Springsteen tour jackets and Bada Bing night lights. We forgave his producers for calling our version of Cherry Cherry "amateurish".
We come back to KC changed men, and are eager to play our edgy hybrid of rock and roll for all of you. Check out our dates for 2008 and 2009.
